Camp Verde Arizona Set on the banks of the Verde River, Camp Verde resides in a valley surrounded by forested mountains. Originally settled in 1865, Camp Verde is the geographical center of Arizona and home to the Yavapai-Apache Nation owned Cliff Castle Casino and Lodge.
